What is History Day?
History Day is a nationally acclaimed history education program that encourages middle school and high school students to become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights, and artist as they create unique interpretations of the past. History Day makes history come alive through active student learning and provides educators with professional development opportunities.
Students can enter one of five categories of competition (papers, exhibits, performances, documentaries, and websites) in the junior division - grades 6th through 8th - and senior division - grades 9th through 12th. They can work as individuals or in groups in every category except the paper.
